LEMBACH MAGINOT LINE WORLD WAR II, Lower Alsace

With the experience of war trenches of 1914-1918 and the delineation of the new borders of northeastern France, the french government decided in 1930 to build a defense line of concrete and steel to deter or whether oppose any invasion.

The position fortified Lembach called the "Four Lime" or "FCC" is one of 108 books this line stretching over 700 km of borders between the north and south of France.
