Wedding Register of the Elsasser Congregation

A set of records beginning in the 1840s when the congregation was founded by a group of Pennsylvania Germans until the 1880s when it comprised nearly all Alsatian immigrants and their descendants has been transcribed from the original Gothic handwriting and then translated from German into English is in the possession of the Yates County Historian's Office. Among them are 74 weddings. The register has been transcribed for this site, and indexed; each wedding has had a number added to it, with a date span as follows:

27 September 1846 - 16 November 1850 #s 1 - 9

7 November 1856 - 6 March 1858 #s10 - 18
